James and Jacquelyn Fox were married on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, 1959.
The couple met when they were 11 years old in the Terre Haute Bible Center and were married there 11 years later by the Rev. Clyde Rodabaugh.
Jim graduated from Gerstmeyer High School and Indiana State University after serving four years in the U.S. Navy. He was employed for several years at CBS and retired from his position as director of plant operations at Westminster Village in 2002.
Jackie, the former Jacquelyn Kiefner, graduated from Staunton High School and Indiana University School of Nursing. Her career included several years as a nursing and health educator and the establishment of Hospice of the Wabash Valley in 1982. She retired in 2004 from her position as vice president and chief operating officer of Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
The couple are blessed with 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
